This role was shining out of him.I like this kind of actors.He is asking,meditating,searching for different solutions, cooperates,believing in what he is doing.He is searching for fine extras, the tiny impulses of the figure. He's got so many ideas, that even in the moments of shooting he is able to add something new to the role.But he can also be rude, when it is required. He used to inspire himself always with the music of the scene.He was listening to the soundtrack before stepping in front of the camera.
Working with him is like playing on a Stradivari. Each tones sound clearly out of it.In the film he paints and plays music as well,just as in private life.Everyone loved him in the team .(DO YOU UNDERSTAND IT ?) He's got grateful nature - it's easy to adore him. ( ) There is a much more passionable loving scene in the film : after the death of her husband, Bathory Erzsébet and Caravaggio meet in the church and make love in a confessional.We shooted this scene in the Gothic church of Kutná Hora. Hans was performing with total devotion (hhhh...), but so much, that in the end during the cutting progression I had to take back of his passion and I rather had to show Anna Friel's face. He was acting so hotly, that I thought I mustn't show everything to the audience - I have to leave some momentums to their own imagination. "

Jinak, jestli nevíte o jakej film s Hansem jde, tak je to v češtině "Světlo ve tmě" (2006). *14*
Je to amatérskej překlad, ale nebylo to zas až tam moc těžký, takže by to mělo bejt správně...

,, Když jsem poprvé četl skript , byl jsem docela šokován - začal jsem číst scény s Angusem a Rachel a myslel si, že je to myšleno být jako milostný příběh. Jak čtu dál, tam bylo mnoho zvratů a otáček, já jsem nevěděl, jestli to byl thriller nebo milostný příběh a já jsem byl překvapený a nemohl čekat, že najdu závěr. Přivést to k životu byl skutečně odlišný zážitek a já jsem našel jemnosti, že aby to fungovalo byla velká výzva pro mě. Musíte hrát skoro tři nebo čtyři odlišné povahy, tak musíte najít rovnováhu a ujistit se, že neberete příliš mnoho pryč, ale také dáte dost publiku porozumět jaký charakter jste."

Hans o jezdeckých scénách s Demi Moore.............

,,Já miluji jízdu na koni, dělal jsem to mnohokrát a nebojím se toho, ale já bych nenazýval sám sebe velkým jezdcem a scény Demi a mě, které jsme dělali na pláži byly určitě zážitek - bolestný zážitek! Museli jsme jezdit bez sedla a koňské obratle jsou dost velké - Demi a já jsme byli spolu na koni a ona seděla za mnou a já jsem se posadil na koňské obratle a to skákání nahoru a dolů bylo velmi bolestivé. Já chci mít jednoho dne děti a já si nemyslím, že tato zkušenost udělala mému ,,nářadí" moc dobře! Muselo to být legrační sledovat mě pádícího na koni, jak nadskakuji a dělám grimasy. Sedla jsou rozhodně nutnost pro mou příští roli, která bude vyžadovat jezdectví!"

Mimo bolesti a skutečnosti, že oni skoro spadli několikrát z koně, Matheson byl šťastný, že se rozhodli nenechat se zastupovat dubléry a našli v tom úžasný zážitek.

,,Bylo to zábavné, protože pláž byla úžasná, byl krásný západ slunce a to jsou ty momenty, které dělají tuto práci tak hodnotnou. Kolik lidí dostane příležitost k jízdě na koni bez sedla po pláži s Demi Moore?!"

Pravda je to, že Hans působí poněkud zjemnělým dojmem na běžného chlapa. Ale rozhodně bych ho nikdy nepovažovala za ženu, protože se jako ženská nechová a ani tak rozhodně nevypadá. *13* A po filmových "nahých" záběrech z Bathory a z Comfortably Numb by ho nepovažoval za hermafrodita ani ten novinář! *13* *5* *4*
